World Environment Day 2022

This is for information that Acharya Jagadish Chandra Bose Indian Botanic Garden, Howrah is going to celebrate World Environment Day-2022 on 5th June 2022, Sunday in association with ENVIS Resource Partner on Biodiversity (Flora). On this occasion a series of awareness programme in the form of various competitions for the school students and general public will be organized on 05th June 2022.

The following competitions will be organized on this occasion:

A. Sit and draw competition for school students of the age group of 4 to 17 Years

1. Only Indian nationals with age group between 4 to 17 years can participate.

2. There will be 4 age groups for the competition:

a. Group-A (4+ to 6 years)

b. Group-B (6+  to 9 years)

c. Group-C (9+ to 12 years)

d. Group-D (12+ to 17 years)

3. The competition will be organized in Curator's office, AJCBIBG on 5th June 2022. 

4. The Theme of Drawing competition for each group will be declared on 5th June 2022

5. Participants have to reach the venue before 08:00 A.M. on 5th June 2022.

6. The participants have to bring their drawing materials (Except Drawing sheet) for the competition.

8. The competition will be for a limited number of participants on first come first serve basis; hence participants are requested to register themselves before the registration process will be closed.

9. No spot registration will beallowed.

10. Participant has to bring copy of their registration form with them.

11. Entry of one guardian with the participant is allowed on showing copy of registration form.

12. All drawing sheets will be of the property of AJCBIBG.

B. Photography contest (Open to All)

Theme- Natural Beauty of AJC Bose Indian Botanic Garden

1. Each participant is allowed to submit maximum two (02) photographs.

2. Digitally manipulated photographs will not be considered for the competition.

3. Photographs taken from 1st June 2022 to 5th June 2022 will be considered for the competition.

4. Participants can send their entries on or before 5th June 2022 through the link https://forms.gle/RpMVW9JAVfkxTBRt5 or by scanning the QR Code given below

5. The photographs received will be property of AJCBIBG.
