Report of Earth Day 2025
On the occasion of ‘Earth Day 2025’ EIACP PC-RP on Biodiversity (Flora), Botanical Survey of India in collaboration with Committee for Environment and Sustainability (ComEnS), Shri Shikshayatan College, Kolkata is celebrating ‘Earth Day 2025’ on 21.04.2025 at Shri Shikshayatan College, Kolkata, WB. In this programme a brief lecture on Earth Day and Mission LiFE programme were performed by Mr. Arka Banerjee, Senior Preservation Asst., BSI and EIACP personnel. Dr. Papiya Chaudhury, Teacher-in-Charge, Shri Shikshayatan College and Dr. Debnita Chakravarti and Smt. Raikamal Pal, Joint Conveners, ComEnS and other faculty members were present in the inauguration programme. 109 students and 20 faculty members of Shri Shikshayatan College, Kolkata are participating in the programme. Seven (7) themes and three phases of Mission LiFE are explained and leaflets on Mission LiFE themes are distributed. Mission LiFE pledge is also taken.
