REPORT OF INTERNATIONAL DAY FOR BIODIVERSITY 2024

EIACP Programme Centre- Resource Partner on Biodiversity (Flora) of Botanical Survey of India celebrated the ‘International Day for Biodiversity 2024’ on 18.05.2024 and 21.05.2024 among the students of Palpara Govind Jiu High School, Baikhali Sri Sri Mahamaya Vidyalaya, Belari Vivekananda Vidya Mandir and Baganda Jatadhari High School. The theme for this year is “Be Part of the Plan”. The inauguration programme started with the welcome address and a brief introduction about Biodiversity by Mr. Kaushik Naskar, DEO, BSI EIACP PC RP and also addressed the participants during this inaugural session. A quiz competition was organized among the above mentioned schools. A total of 62 participants participated in this programme. Prizes were distributed among the winning participants. Mission LiFE leaflets were distributed among the students and Mission LiFE pledge is also taken
