Eastern Regional Centre, Shillong celebrated 125 years of BSI establishment Shillong on 13 February, 2015.Dr. A.A.Mao, Scientist-E & Head of Office welcomed all the officers and staffs. Dr. A. A. Mao, Head of office and Dr. S.K. Singh, Sci.D gave short speeches on the history and development of the department. This was followed by short speeches by Dr. N. Odyuo, Sci. D; Dr. Chaya Deori, Sci. D; Shri Sujit Mukherjee, JAO; Dr. Deepu Vijayan and Sci. B on their experiences in BSI. Slide shows of all the ongoing projects (Annual action plan) were projected in LCD for the whole day. A surprise quiz competition based on BSI history was conducted for the all the staffs and prize distributed to the winners. The programme ended with Light refreshment.
