The next Regional Evaluation and Training Workshop for ENVIS Centres (located in North-Eastern and Eastern Region) is scheduled to be held during 23rd - 24th March, 2015 at Assam Science Technology and Environment, Council (ASTEC), Bigyan Bhawan, Guwahati, Assam. This workshop is being organised to evaluate the functioning of the ENVIS Centres as per the Guidelines of the ENVIS Scheme, framed by the Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change, Government of India. In addition to the evaluation, a training/orientation programme on Bhuvan Portal (a Geo-spatial platform of National Remote Sensing Centre of ISRO) has also been planned.
